The Overdew & Captain Ryan
When you step on to the deck of the Overdew, you will know you have made the right choice. Our vessel is a 30 foot Striper 2901 powered by twin Suzuki 250hp 4 stroke outboards. These motors are clean burning and whisper quiet for a truly amazing charter experience. This boat was made to enjoy the open ocean, it offers a very spacious deck with a 10’6 beam which makes it extremely stable and comfortable in the water. This large deck also makes the perfect platform to land multiple fish at once or a great area to hang out and enjoy the views of beautiful Howe Sound. Not to mention our premium sound system with Bluetooth capabilities so you listen to your favorite tunes as you enjoy the scenic views.
We can comfortably carry 6 passengers on board, you are guaranteed not to feel crowded on board the Overdew. Enjoy covered seating to stay warm and dry should we experience a coastal rainfall. Or head down to our spacious cabin, where you can store you gear and hang out. Our vessel is equipped with a private washroom, offering a flushing toilet and sink with running fresh water.
Outfitted with the latest advancements in marine technology, our vessel is equipped with Lowrance GPS, Sonar, Radar, Communications and Safety equipment - you can relax on the water with us.
We want you to have a good time, but we want to do it safely. The Overdew is fully Insured and carries all the required Transport Canada safety gear on board. Inflatable collar life jackets are available if you like. Before boarding the Overdew you will have a safety briefing with our Captain, who will explain where all the safety gear is and what to do in the event of an emergency.
Your Captain, Ryan has lived in the Sea to Sky Corridor all of his life and has well over 20 years’ experience navigating the waters of Howe Sound and beyond. He is extremely knowledgeable about our vessel and its capabilities, the weather, terrain and fishing opportunities within Howe Sound. He carries the following certifications: SVOP, MED A3, ROC-M, Level 1 First Aid.

The Overdew is rigged and ready to fish. Enjoy your fishing experience with well-maintained rods and reels. We only use quality fishing gear and all our charters include tackle, bait and ice on-board.

You will need to obtain a Tidal Water Recreational Fishing License from the Government of Canada with a Salmon stamp; this must be purchased before your charter.

We offer half and full day charters, with departures in the Morning or Afternoon. Your choice of charter in Northern or Southern Howe Sound. The vessel will depart from the Britannia Beach Community Dock unless otherwise agreed.
We can comfortably accommodate up to 6 passengers on our Vessel.
